Yes, there is. Not that there are lotta new things in it but the style is awesome. Check it out over at Yahoo! Movies. If it’s too slow – at least it was agonizingly slow when I tried to stream it about an hour ago – there’s a faster mirror up here (Be sure to scroll down and get trailer 2.). I just read your synopsis of the battle. I’m excited for the movie. Was everything done in a blue screen studio like Sin City?
According to IMDB the film was shot on green screen, so the answer would be yes. They shot the movie in 60 days
Well, I was wrong and I stand corrected:
“The filmmakers used bluescreen 90% of the time, and greenscreen for 10%. They chose blue because it better matched the lighting paradigm (green would have been too bright) and because red garments (a la spartan capes) look better when shot over blue.”
