A few days ago, the trailer for Bangkok Dan­ger­ous has been released to the web. This is a remake of the 1999 film of the same name, but this time Nico­las Cage gets to play the main role. The film is about a hit­man (Cage) who is paid to pull of a series of jobs in Bangkok. Unfor­tu­nately – for the clients, of course – he falls for a local woman and doesn’t go through with the job – he goes after the clients instead. Sadly, nobody seems to know about the plot but the team cer­tainly tries to stick to the orig­i­nal story.

Any­way, the film will hit the­aters on the 22nd of August in 2008. You can watch the trailer at Trailer Addict. A longer ver­sion is avail­able at IGN. The trailer looks good, but that is to be expected. Hope­fully the movie can deliver what the trailer promises.
